No Surprises

Don’t be left guessing how much your energy bill will be at the end of the month. With Prepay, you can always check your daily usage online, and we’ll notify you when your balance is running low.

No Monthly Due Dates

Now when you pay is flexible. Without a specific monthly due date, you can simply fund your account when you want on myEntergy online or the Entergy mobile app.

No Late, Disconnection or Reconnection Fees

You won’t be charged a late fee, disconnection fee or reconnection fee. Simple. If you don’t keep your account balance positive, your power may be disconnected on the next business day. But after you add more funds, your power will be turned back on. In certain service areas, you may be required to have a minimum balance to be reconnected.

No Security Deposit

New customers don’t have to pay a security deposit. If you’re an existing customer who has already made one, it will be put toward your Prepay account balance.

How It Works

Dashboard

When you log in to myEntergy online or the Entergy mobile app, your Prepay dashboard shows you how much credit you have in your account and an estimated amount of days of energy left. There you’ll see an option to add more funds. You may fund your account with a variety of payment options.

Notifications

We’ll send you notifications via text and/or email for when your account reaches $20, alerting you to add more funds. In certain service areas, you may be able to also set up a second alert at the price point of your choosing. You can set this up in the Notification Preferences section of myEntergy online or in the Entergy mobile app. Check out these FAQs for more information pertaining to your particular service area.

Disconnection

If you don’t keep your funds at the minimum required level, your power will be disconnected on the next business day. But after you add more funds, your power will be turned back on. You won’t be charged a late fee, disconnection fee or reconnection fee. Simple.
